A Healthy Dose of Charity Is Just What the Doctor Ordered for 2017

A Healthy Dose of Charity Is Just What the Doctor Ordered for 2017

From the very beginning, The Diamond Galleria has felt strongly about giving back to our Evansville community. Over the last 3 years, we’ve been proud to sponsor, host, and attend charity events, give charitable donations, such as with our 5+5 = Love program, and help promote local causes. And we aim to continue to do so in 2017. However, we are going to be doing things a little bit differently this year, narrowing the focus for our charity budget.

What Is Our 2017 Charity Strategy?

In 2017, our charity budget for Sponsorship Opportunities and Event Partnerships will be focused on “Health in the Tri-State.” This means that we aim to sponsor events and organizations specifically associated with medical services, research, screening, education, counseling or treatment of Tri-State residents’ health. This ties into our strong relationships with the American Heart Association, the Tri-State Multiple Sclerosis Association, Deaconess Foundation, the HeartSaver Program, Touch, and Susan G. Komen.

Why Have We Developed This Strategy?

While we’d love to give to each and every charity in the Tri-State, that’s simply not possible for any individual or business. By zeroing in on one specific area, we can make the most of our charity budget and make the greatest impact in the local community. And after all, happiness starts with healthiness!

What About In-Store Events?

Though we may not have the means to support every charity financially, we’d still love to do our part and give back. If your cause doesn’t fit the “Health in the Tri-State” initiative, consider hosting your event at The Diamond Galleria. We’ll provide an upscale setting, as well as hors d’oeuvres and bar service for your guests. It’s a great alternative to traditional event venues and being surrounded by diamonds has a way of making people extra generous.

How Will We Approach Charity Support for 2018?

And for those charities outside the “Health in the Tri-State”, don’t count us out for 2018! We’ll be reviewing and planning our strategy for next year this fall.
